These Desk Tributes are made from imported Baltic birch and are approximately 6" in diameter. It is hard to see in the picture, but they are actually made from two separate pieces of 1/8" thick wood for a stunning effect. We start with a solid black back. The emblem and stars are actually cut out of the wood so that you are seeing the black back -- they are not printed letters and symbols. No ink, paint, etc. is used to create the letters, symbols, text, etc. The thin, brown lines are actually burned into the wood using a laser so that no detail is lost -- no matter how small.

 

When completed, the tribute is a generous 1/4" thick and comes complete with feet so that it is ready to stand on a desk, shelf, mantle, table, etc.
