These great looking badges are made from a sturdy, special two-ply plastic. We engrave through the surface color to reveal the contrasting color below. The brushed silver surface looks just like a piece of metal while the other colors have a rich, matt finish. Two fasteners are offered. Included in the price is a sturdy pin backing. The pin backing has a 1-1/2" pin which goes through your clothes and into a clasp with a secure closure to hold it securely in place. We also offer an upgrade to a magnetic fastener which consist of a metal bar attached to the badge and a separate magnet which goes behind your clothing. The very strong magnetic attraction holds the badge in place without putting holes in your clothes. People with pacemakers should NOT use the magnetic fastener due to the extremely strong magnetic field.
